  • Trained through, and member of, Council Of Parent Attorneys and Advocates, committed to their Advocate Code of Ethics
  • Trained as an IEP Facilitator through Sound Options Mediation contracted through Washington Education Association (WEA) by Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
  • Seattle University Special Education Law trainings
  • Wrightslaw Advocacy training
  • Completed "Special Ed. Boot Camp" by WEA

I also have a number of affilitions with different organizations and non-profits in the community, as a volunteer or board member.

The hours I have spent working with individual families have been countless.  As a volunteer for Autism Society and Parent-to-Parent, then as an employee of both organizations, the bulk of my work has been Special Education related.  The other components have to do with systems advocacy.
